LO1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I initially started going to the gym, one of the first things I did was evaluate my physical capabilities and identify my strengths and weaknesses. I became aware that my endurance and stamina were not as strong as I would have liked them to be, and I wanted to work on that. I was able to create a strategy to increase my fitness level and work on my areas for improvement by admitting my limitations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me, going to the gym was a new challenge because I had never been a regular before. I was able to learn new abilities like discipline and determination, though, by making a commitment to go for an hour every day, six days a week. I forced myself to go and finish my daily workout even when I didn’t feel like it. During this experience, I discovered that overcoming obstacles can be beneficial and that, with dedication and hard work, I am capable of learning new skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LO3: Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had to figure out how to start and organize a good CAS experience if I wanted to get the most out of my gym experience. I researched several fitness routines and strategies to create a customized workout schedule that was suited to my goals and capabilities. I discovered how to set achievable goals and design a strategy to accomplish them. I learned how to be proactive and make good plans during this process, which will help me in other areas of my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LO4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It took a lot of dedication and perseverance to go to the gym for 3 months, 6 days a week, with one hour each day. There were times when I didn’t feel like working out or when I thought my development wasn’t moving as rapidly as I would have liked. Yet I pushed and stayed dedicated to my fitness goals. During this experience, I gained discipline and a sense of motivation for myself. I also learned the value of commitment and determination in accomplishing my goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conclusion, my CAS experience in the gym was a beneficial opportunity for my personal development. I was able to increase my physical fitness and gain useful abilities like discipline, determination, and self-motivation by resolving to attend the gym regularly. I gained insight into the importance of knowing my skills and weaknesses, defining attainable objectives, and developing a strategy to reach them through this experience. Despite the difficulties I faced along the way, I am happy with the advancement I was able to make in just three months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
