I was confused about what to take up as my career choice for future. So I decided to take up a 3 month junior MBA program to help with my choices. I chose foundational business technology, strategy as well as marketing. It was an interactive as well as interesting course which helped me a lot to decide my career as well as learn a lot. The classes were everyday for 1 hour. We were divided into teams of 5 people and at the end of the program, we had to come up with our own idea and present it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LEARNING OUTCOMES:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LO1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During my course, I found out that I had great ideas but was sometimes lacking to voice them. I thought too much about what people would think of me if I gave the wrong answer. But I overcame that when I learnt that no one pays that much attention and it was all in my head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LO2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the proce<\/strong>ss<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was challenging for me to work in a team, but I undertook the course knowing that I would have to work in one. It really helped me build my teamwork skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LO4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course was 3 month long. So it was a little difficult to manage it along with my school assignments and studies. But through time management and consistency, I was able to complete it<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LO5:<\/strong> Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had to come up with a presentation at the end of each course and for this we were divided into a team of around 4-5 people. I found that it was difficult for me to interact with them and I preferred to work alone instead. But my perspective was changed when I saw the benefits of working together. You get different ideas and viewpoints which you didn’t think of. It also prompted me to think outside the box. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
