I\u2019ve loved animals since I was 5 and would always hope to help them in anyway possible. Initially, I used to give milk to dogs of my building but then I gradually heard about the initiative that Prayas has taken. Prayas is an animal shelter where they foster injured animals and provide them a space called \u2018home\u2019. Hence, during quarantine I decided to join in Prayas and help in anyway I can. The organisation was having issues spreading awareness about the content and needed help in marketing. I decided to volunteer and we did a \u2018Vegan event\u2019 where we spreaded awareness regarding veganism and the event was a hit. With time, my interest in Prayas kept rising and I wanted to be a part of saving animals as well. I went for 2-3 rescues where we rescued a cow, a dog and an eagle.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This service also includes the SDG \u201cLife on Land\u201d since we\u2019re working towards helping and preserving the life on land. Moreover, I\u2019ve also taken a few personal actions to help stray dogs. Me and my partner Viha we gathered a few volunteers and bought food for stray dogs and fed them. This CAS project has helped me go beyond my comfort zone and experience new skills and I\u2019m glad that I could be a part of this journey.
