I have always been fond of writing, I consider it my best form of expression. I published a book of poems in the previous year, and post that I had stopped writing regularly. In an attempt to improve my writing, becoming better at expressing my feelings and continuing practicing my hobby, I started posting new literary pieces on my writing account. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

LO1 – Identify own strengths and weaknesses<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I knew that my literary skills were good and that I could produce quality literary pieces. However, more often than not I struggled with expressing myself, which was also rightly pointed out by my therapist. Hence, I set a goal for myself to express myself better through the medium which was in my comfort zone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

LO4 – Show commitment and perseverance in CAS experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were times when I had my writer’s block, which got be demotivated, however I ensured that I kept writing regularly and post the same. I believe more than it reaching people, it acted as a way for me to reflect on my own emotions, so I kept writing even when I was hard to. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

LO6 – Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through my writing Instagram handle, I also expressed my view points on some current pressing issues such as violence against women and mental health. I believed this would help me articulate my opinions in a more creative manner, and make it reach the audience to spread awareness and start up a conversation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dealing with mental health issues myself, it was imperative I indulged in some activity that helped me get in terms to my own emotions and conscience. This CAS experience helped me keep my mental and emotional wellbeing in check. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
