Service<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I always wanted to visit gaushala and CAS give me the motivation to do so. While I was feeding cows I felt so happy for doing this service. I went to feed cows every week on Sunday. I learned what kind of food cows eat and they have specific food made for them known as chara. When I first went to feed cows, I was so afraid to feed them. But later I got friendly and now I like to visit gaushala more often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I achieved success in this CAS experience. This was an effectively accomplished service I completed, with enjoyment. Also, I felt empathy towards cows so I fed them with joy. I would still continue this activity even after my CAS is over. I will contribute to society further by continuing it. I attributed the learner profile caring as I was feeding the cow, which is an act of service for society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L1 – Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The strengths are that I always like to stay with animals and I easily bond with them. Mainly my development area is that I am afraid to feed cows, but gradually my fear vanished. And now I like to feed cows. The development area is feeding cows on daily basis. I don’t get enough time so I want to spare time for them on daily basis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L6-engagement with issues of global significance<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Issues are loss of biodiversity. It is important to preserve our biodiversity. And Indian people believe cow as mother, so I wanted to do act of kindness for them. I focused on SDG life on land. I emphasized the importance of addressing biodiversity on a local scale. I went to feed them with grass, grains and wheat bread. My CAS work makes me feel that I did something for the betterment of society, which makes me feel proud. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indian animal ethics believe in respecting cow-like our mother. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
