Further, consider composting from the leftovers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LO1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>strengths<\/td><td>weaknesses<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Nongas work<\/td><td>Chopping&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Round chapatis<\/td><td>daal\/pulao related dishes; hard to make&nbsp; for me&nbsp;<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The entire process- going to purchase the right type of daal<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Worked on my weaknesses(clips of chopping and daal); once aware of the same<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cooking video caption(working on this benefits me by helping me become independent)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LO2<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(chopping challenging, since wanted to avoid cutting my fingers and at the same time didn&#8217;t want to waste time by cutting extremely slowly)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(overcame the chopping challenge by practicing slowly, developing a muscle memory and then gradually increasing my speed)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Undertaking this challenge makes me feel great since now I can cook independently; have a new special skill and in the future won\u2019t face cooking related adversities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LO3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organisation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Laying out the food timetable for the entire week as per the demand of the family members<\/li><li>When searching for places to execute the food drive&nbsp;<\/li><li>Hard to find places at first; but due to the planning done before executing, I faced no problems while conducting the food drive.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong>LO4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Helping mom cook everyday, since I am used to being on the receiving end, it was tedious for me to cook dinner everyday with her. I had to show my commitment towards the goal.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LO5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Had to collaborate with my mother, my job was to make her task easier so I just took instructions&nbsp;<\/li><li>Hierarchy was set which made collaboration pretty easy&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LO6<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The main purpose of the food drive was so to focus on the global issue \u2018hunger\u2019<\/li><li>It is crucial to put my contribution to this global issue because to meet the SDG \u2018zero hunger\u2019; everybodies contribution is needed to make a change.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;LO7&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Talking about sustainable goals, in the food drive, I distributed the food in plastic plates,&nbsp;<\/li><li>Using those plates is unethical especially when the goal in mind is moving towards sustainability&nbsp;<\/li><li>To some extent plastic consumption took place, however, I feel that the hunger issues outweigh this dilemma(since it was not feasible for me to hand the food out in steel plates)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LP:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>caring(service)(start- end independent responsible)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highlight: the pleasant feeling received after making someone smile(mother and the people who received the food)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(VIDEO-BASED REFLECTION) If having an issue with reading the pointers in the video, here is the TRANSCRIPT: Activity and goal: Helping mom cook(because of covid servants not coming, so helping her cook) Using the leftovers\/extra food; to go on a food drive; to contribute to the zero hunger SDG and minimize the wastage of food.
