CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) is an experiential learning framework that encourages students to engage in meaningful and challenging activities outside of the classroom. As part of my CAS program, I decided to get my driver’s license. In this reflection, I will discuss my experience and what I learned.

Activity: Learning to drive
My experience getting my driver’s license was novel and thrilling for me. I had to learn how to drive, how to obey the rules of the road, and how to drive safely. Although the procedure was difficult and time-consuming, it was also tremendously satisfying.

Creativity: Adapting to different driving situations
I had to think outside the box when I was learning to drive when dealing with various circumstances. I had to adjust to various weather, traffic, and road conditions. I also had to use my problem-solving creativity to identify different routes when there was heavy traffic.

Service: Helping others with transportation
Having a driver’s license has given me the opportunity to assist others with transportation, which is one of its advantages. I was able to transport relatives and friends to events and appointments, which was a significant opportunity for me to give back to my neighborhood.

Reflection: What I learned
I discovered the value of responsibility, safety, and service via my CAS programme while acquiring my driver’s licence. Driving is not just a luxury, but also a significant duty that needs careful consideration.
I became more aware of the value of maintaining my safety while driving, including avoiding distractions and exercising defensive driving. I also discovered the advantages of providing transportation assistance to others and how doing so may be a significant way to give back to my community. I had a good overall experience applying for my driver’s license as part of my CAS programme. I am appreciative that I had the chance to have the ability to acquire this important skill and that it taught me the value of responsibility, safety, and service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
